Our programme until summer 2023 is now finalised. At our Christmas concert on Saturday 3 December our main work will be ‘The Christmas Story’ by Schutz, and we’ll also be singing pieces by Monteverdi, Gabrieli and Praetorius. Please note a CHANGE OF VENUE: the concert will now be at the Church of the Holy Spirit, Southsea. And the start time is 7 p.m.
On Saturday 18 March we will be back at the Holy Spirit to sing a programme of music for Lent, including works by Johann Christian Bach, Praetorius and Buxtehude. And for our summer concert with the Consort of Twelve, at St Paul’s Church, Chichester on Sunday 9 July, we’ll be performing Handel’s ‘Messiah’.
