Our March concert, when we sang Baroque music for Lent at St Saviour’s, Stamshaw to a substantial and enthusiastic audience, was a great success. You can read a review at https://musicinportsmouth.co.uk/review-portsmouth-baroque-choir-music-for-lent/

We are now looking forward to our concerts for the rest of the year. On Sunday 2 July at 3.30 we will be singing anthems for the Church’s year at Holy Trinity, Gosport, and a week later, on Sunday 9 July, we will be performing Handel’s ‘Messiah’ at St Paul’s, Chichester with the Consort of Twelve – part of the Chichester Festival. This starts at 5 pm, with a long interval for a picnic supper on the lawn. We hope for fine weather!

Further concerts will take place on 21 October and 9 December – programmes and venues to be announced.
